The meeting between the champion and the best team in the regular season in the last two years has promised a lot, but ended as most games between LeBron James and Yannis Antocompo over the years, the first one.
King James crossed the 30-point mark for the first time this season and stabilized at 34 (13 from 25 from the field), adding 8 assists and 6 rebounds, while the Greek freak recorded nice numbers with 25 points and 12 rebounds, but also lost no less than nine. Bullets, and again had a hard time facing really quality defense.
The first half was still tight with the advantage changing hands nine times, but LeBron led an 8:20 run in the final minutes of the third quarter, and from there the Lakers no longer looked back - until LeBron raised his balance in meetings with Yannis over the years to a completely one-sided 5:16.
Cantabius Caldwell Pop was the X Factor with the winner with 23 including seven threes, while Anthony Davis recorded a solid game with 18, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
Jero Holiday (22 and 7 assists) and Chris Middleton (20 and 7 assists) tried to help the Yannis, but did not prevent a second loss to the Bucks and a 0: 8 balance of the Lakers in away games this season.
