Without the dismissed Leo Messi, Barcelona tonight (Sunday) managed to put together a fourth consecutive victory with a not particularly difficult 0: 2 over Elche, in the 19th round of the Spanish league.
The Catalans climbed to third place just 3 points away from Real Madrid and 7 from Atletico Madrid leading them still have a game to complete.
In the 39th minute Barça went up to 0: 1 after a confusion in the Elche defense, which in the end Gonzalez pushed to his own goal, but Frankie de Jong was quickest of all to push the ball in from zero distance and to score a fifth goal of the season to his credit.
A minute before the end of the 90 minutes, the excellent Frankie de Jong added a brace with a clever wide ball, substitute Ricky Pouch, who came in just two minutes earlier, got up and miraculously slammed his first hair of the season.
First goal and more with a jab!
