South Korea's Son Heung-min, England's Tottenham Hotspur star, has been named the best Asian professional outside the continent for 2020.
The AFC announced in a statement on its official website that Son Heung-min won the award, beating Iranian runner-up Mehdi Tarimi and third-place Iraqi Ali Adnan.
The South Korean player was crowned the best professional Asian player outside the continent 3 times in his history, the best player in the English Premier League last October, and the best player in Tottenham in the 2019-2020 season.
