Manchester United are currently hosting Liverpool, as part of the battle of the giants in the third round of the English Cup that is taking place at Old Trafford.

Last season, Jurgen Klopp's side were knocked out in the fourth round of the Cup by Chelsea while the Red Devils reached the top four but were knocked out in the semi-finals.

Muhammad Salah and Roberto Firmino returned to Klopp's starting lineup while Sadio Mane remained on the bench.

Captain Jordan Henderson was injured and left out of the squad, Thiago Alcantara and Giorgini Vinaldom came up with a link alongside James Milner.

Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood, on the other hand, returned to the English Premier League's 11.
