Following the government's decision to close Ben Gurion Airport starting tomorrow (Monday to Tuesday) at midnight, the Ministry of Sports is working with the Ministry of Health and the Population and Immigration Authority to exclude sports teams and athletes who can land and leave Israel as it has been until now.
As is well known, Maccabi Tel Aviv is due to travel to Turkey tomorrow for the game against Fenerbahce on Tuesday in the Euroleague, Nes Ziona and Hapoel Jerusalem are currently in Poland and France as part of their European Cup and Champions League games, and the Ministry of Sports estimates that approval will be obtained.
