Karabatic, Perec, Onesta ... The world of sport in support of Restos du Cœur

2021-01-25T10:02:05.007Z

Under the impetus of the Etoiles du Sport, an operation "Sport has a heart" will raise funds to help the association created by Coluche.

“French sport had to show that it was not just looking at the navel.

Athletes are also suffering from the crisis, but there are people who are suffering even more. "

From the outset, Sébastien Foucras sets the scene.

The founder of Les Etoiles du Sport in the company of Benoit Eycken, rather than staying in his corner to mourn the 19th edition of the event which should have taken place in December 2020, decided to find another way to get to useful.

Very quickly with a concept, as he explains to Le Figaro: “The idea of the operation Sport has heart germinated very early, from the first confinement.

With Benoit, we said to ourselves that we couldn't not take into consideration everything that people were going through.

It was at a time when there was a strong mobilization for the nursing staff and we were very keen to be able to help people in great difficulty.

The restos du cœur arrived as a certainty because on the one hand we appreciate the work done by this association since its creation, and on the other hand because personally, Benoit and I were very fans of Coluche. "

Michèle Laroque as a matchmaker

The rest, Sophie Bazou, of Restos du Cœur, tells us: “It was a nice meeting which took place through Michèle Laroque, who has been part of the Enfoirés for many years and who also participated in the Etoiles Sport.

A simple phone call and we said banco.

Whether it is the world of sport or the Restos du cœur, the values are the same.

Suddenly, it was very easy to find bridges between our two structures.

All the more so since there has always been a tradition of athletes present on the Enfoirés. "

Many athletes or members of the sports world - Nikola Karabatic, Thierry Omeyer, Clarisse Agbegnenou, Marie-José Pérec, Renaud Lavillenie, Claude Onesta and also the Minister of Sports Roxana Maracineanu - have therefore decided to highlight (or not for some ) their vocal cords and singing the song.

But not only…

15 privileged meetings to win for a good cause

Indeed, aware that a simple song would not be enough, another means of raising funds will be put in place.

From January 24 to February 14, 2021, a major solidarity campaign called "Le Sport a du Cœur" will be carried by the French champions

.

The principle of the event: buy a raffle ticket at five euros to win a prize.

Namely either one of the 15 privileged meetings with the champions of the Stars of Sport, via a weekly draw.

Among these meetings, we find a game of golf with Laurent Blanc, a moment on the field with Fabien Galthié, a boxing lesson with Sarah Ourahmoune, a track race with Marie-José Pérec, a handball match alongside Nikola Karabatic. , sailing at sea with Thomas Coville ... Or it will also be possible to win a collector's t-shirts "Sport has Heart".

400 will also be up for grabs during each of the three weeks of the raffle.

100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Restos du Cœur.

Knowing that of course, it will be possible to maximize your chances by buying several tickets at 5 euros.

For Patrice Blanc, President of Restos du Cœur, “It is a great pleasure and an immense honor for the Restos du Cœur to see the sports family come together around the association and the people it supports.

To face this unprecedented crisis, this initiative of the Stars of Sport is an incredible support for our action.

We would like to warmly thank all the participants in this solidarity action, sports and sportsmen, who through this event commit themselves to the fight against poverty and exclusion.

We need everyone more than ever, we are counting on you more than ever. ”
