The league administration and the basketball association, together with the Ministry of Sports, enlisted the help of Ness Ziona and Hapoel Jerusalem in light of the closure of Ben Gurion Airport and the fact that they cannot return to Israel on a regular flight.
The administration and the union will bear some of the costs of the two private flights that are expected to bring the groups back to Israel later this week.
The chairman of the administration, Shmuel Frenkel, said: "We have seen a duty to do everything and help teams representing Israel in Fiba's official factories return to Israel. I thank the Basketball Association and the Ministry of Sports for their speedy cooperation."
