A big storm occurred last night (Sunday) in Romema Hall after Hapoel Haifa's 85:96 victory over Hapoel Holon.
According to Hapoel Haifa, the chairman of the rival team, Eitan Lanciano, approached coach Elad Hussein and told him, "You are a small coach, in a small club." Hassin was injured and responded. Soon the winds blew and one of Haifa's householders cursed and physically approached Lanciano, who was escorted by security guards.
The chairman of Holon then apologized for his statement, but said that it was a sports tease and that the Haifaites had actually crossed the forbidden line in an attempt to physically harm it.
Hapoel Haifa responded to the incident: "After an excellent basketball game between Hapoel Haifa and Hapoel Holon, Holon chairman Mr. Eitan Lanciano chose to attack in an unprecedented and shameful manner with statements that do not belong in our industry to the team's coach Elad Hussein and Hapoel Haifa, as a club we denounce all behavior "One who does not respect us, and we will not accept this conduct. As a club, we have engraved on our banner the value of sportsmanship and respect for the opponent always, we are sorry that Mr. Nitzano chose to behave in this way."
