The Euroleague announced tonight (Tuesday) that Maccabi Tel Aviv's game against Andulo Zero, which was supposed to take place this coming Thursday, has been postponed to another date following the closure of Ben Gurion Airport.
According to the Euroleague announcement, the Turks have not received permission from the Israeli authorities to land due to the severe restrictions and the ban on landing foreign companies in Israel in light of the spread of the corona virus.
Maccabi was considering flying a plane from Tel Aviv that would bring the Turks, but since Israeli companies do not land in Istanbul, this idea was also dropped.
According to the Euroleague protocol, the match date can be postponed three times to available dates. In the coming days, the Euroleague will set a new date in consultation with the two clubs.
