Even before his first game in Barcelona's senior team, the name Lionel Messi reached many football fans all over the world.

"Nike representatives fell in love with him as soon as they saw him dribble. He looked like a magician with the ball."
"This is a special day for me," the young player said after signing for Nike.
"It's very important to me and my family and no one is happier than me. I thank God, he has a big part in everything that happens to me."
