Robmond, who recently served as Mark Van Bommel's assistant at PSV Eindhoven, had hoped to return to work with him on another team, but when he realized it would not happen, he accepted an offer made by Moan Leven.
"Mark van Bommel and I are in constant contact. There have been talks about joining all sorts of groups, but nothing has been concrete," he said.
Robmond, 48, previously played for Utrecht, Alkmaar and De Schrapshap, before retiring in 2009.
Since working in Alkmaar's youth department, he has been assistant coach of the Netherlands youth team, assistant coach to Willem (and then head coach after replacing the coach), and then assistant to Mark van Bommel at PSV Eindhoven.
