London - Sana
Chelsea's first match, led by new coach Thomas Tuchel, ended in a faint goalless draw at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League today.
A day after taking over from Frank Lampard on the bench, Tuchel had little time to think as his team dominated the match but without a major threat to the visitors' goal.
The homeowners showed a bit of confidence after the break as Ben Chilwell appeared to be angry with himself after he fired a shot over the bar while he was well positioned to hit the net.
Wolverhampton defended heavily, but was close to progress when Pedro Neto broke through the penalty area and sent a volley above the ceiling of the goal.
Chelsea pressed hard to score the winning goal and Matteo Kovacic tried to put in great effort, while Callum Hudson-Odoi, who was given a rare opportunity by the new coach from the start, sent a shot that changed direction and was saved by the goalkeeper.
