Thunderclap at OM: Villas-Boa announces that "it will be the end in June"

Villas-Boas arrived in Marseille at the start of last season.

He qualified OM for the Champions League but the results are much worse this season, with elimination from the group stage in C1 and a sixth place in the league.

A possible contract extension had however been mentioned at the end of 2020 and the agents of Villas-Boas then met with the management of OM.

“I don't think it could happen.

We are 15 points from the best, an abysmal distance.

We must create a good basis for the future, ”said Villas-Boas. 

“Even I am not waiting for that (a proposal for an extension, editor's note).

I am not a priority.

If we chain ten wins and I am offered an extension, then maybe.

But I am responsible for the current results which are disastrous.

Normally with this kind of results, it's rather the opposite way, ”said the former coach of Chelsea and Tottenham.
