After the 0: 1 victory over Hapoel Hadera last night, the Kiryat Shmona team announced this morning (Friday) that they have been suspended from Lucio's activities, due to a violent disciplinary offense by the striker towards another player in the team.
Coach Kobi Refuah decided to suspend the player from all team activities until after the upcoming game against Hapoel Tel Aviv, then he will stand for a disciplinary committee at the club on Monday.
"The football club, the city of Kiryat Shmona, which for years has been leading and serving as an example of the war on violence, strongly condemns any act of violence and, as stated, treats and addresses the issue with the seriousness it deserves," the club said.
Meanwhile, team player Samuel Brown, who started in the squad with a win over Hadera and felt unwell after the game, was sent this morning for a corona examination, in which he was found to be positive.
After that, tests were also performed on all the other players and members of the club in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and the league administration.
