Koretzky, 46, was a goalkeeper for Samson Tel Aviv, Betar Tel Aviv, Maccabi Netanya, Bnei Yehuda and Hapoel Ramat Hasharon, where he also began his coaching career in 2012/13 and even managed to lead the team to the top playoffs with Bnei Tabak. After one season in Ramat Hasharon, which ended in a conflict with the management, Koretzky moved to Hapoel Raanana and managed to promote it to the Premier League and even register a successful season with it in the senior league.

Following the success in Raanana, Koretzky was appointed Betar Jerusalem coach in 2014/15, Too much time and was fired in January 2015. About two weeks later, he was appointed coach of Hapoel Petah Tikva and relegated with it to the sub-league.

In 2016, he moved to coach Maccabi Netanya after entering a process of liquidation and was ranked in last place.

He resigned from there after two months and returned to Hapoel Ramat Hasharon Leumit.

In January 2017, he was appointed coach of Hapoel Tel Aviv and also relegated with it after it went into liquidation and slipped to last place.

In October 2017, he returned to Hapoel Raanana and at the end of 2019, he finished his job there.

At the beginning of last year, he was appointed coach of Hapoel Rishon Lezion and finished last season with it.
