In his recent statements, Argentine international Lionel Messi, the Barcelona star, raised more ambiguity about his future with the Catalan club during the next season.
Journalist Dario Monteiro said in statements, most notably the account of the famous Spanish program "El Chirengito" on "Twitter", that Messi told him during an interview with him recently, "I still do not know what I will do yet."
"My conversation with Messi gave me the impression that he did not back down on the idea of leaving Barcelona at the end of the season," added Monteiro.
Numerous reports have linked Messi's fate to the outcome of Barcelona's elections next March, and Paris Saint-Germain is the most prominent club seeking his services next season.
