A surprise in honor of Shabbat.

Hapoel Gilboa / Galil got quite a few victories in Yad Eliyahu in recent years and today another one when he beat out 70:79 for Maccabi Tel Aviv. It was the second league loss yellows league also lost during the game the Aot'lo Hunter excluded.

Gilboa did it when she was missing Nathaniel Artzi, Maccabi without Omri Caspi and without Scotty Wilbkin, Tyler Dorsey and Angelo Caluiaro who were left out of the squad.

Although Avishai Gordon lost his first game in the league as the team's coach, today he achieved a beauty of a debut victory.

Gilboa recovered from the surprising home loss to Maccabi Haifa from the bottom a few days ago.

The match was held today because the Euroleague match against Anadolu Zero that was supposed to take place yesterday was postponed.

Gilboa won this game in defense when it managed to hold Maccabi on only 70 points in the first quarter and in the fourth quarter Gilboa held the Yellows on 14 points or more.

Maccabi scored the first three just towards the end of the quarter and finished with 4 at 23 percent.

Gilboa, on the other hand, had 11 percent, 44 percent.

Gilboa led throughout the game except for a few minutes at the end of the third quarter.

It happened thanks to a patient and patient team game that highlighted Kenny Blackshire who scored 22 points.

This gave another boost to Gilboa, who dominated until the end on the way to the great victory.

In Maccabi it was only Ante Zizic with 23 points.
