German soccer players will continue to rely on national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg in the future.
On Friday, the contract with Voss-Tecklenburg was extended to August 2023.
After missing the Olympic qualification, the 53-year-old wants to prove the upward trend of the DFB women at the European Championships in England in 2022 and finally a year later at the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

At the first major tournament under Voss-Tecklenburg, the 2019 Football World Cup, the DFB women were eliminated in the quarter-finals.
Voss-Tecklenburg started with a young selection.
Voss-Tecklenburg has held the post since November 2018 and has 18 wins in 20 games.
The EM 2021 was postponed by one year due to the corona pandemic and will now take place in 2022.
"I look forward to the upcoming tasks with great enthusiasm and great optimism," said the former national player and added: "We will continue to work intensively on developing this young team and forming a sustainable, successful team with a clear game idea."
The collaboration with her assistant Britta Carlson and her assistants Thomas Nörenberg and Michael Fuchs will also be continued.
The DFB women will start their new international season against Belgium on February 21 in Aachen.
