Drama at Hapoel Beer Sheva: Coach Yossi Aboksis resigned tonight (Saturday) after about a year in office.
The announcement came after the coach realized that the team is looking for another coach for next season.
Aboksis feels that there is a lack of appreciation for what Hapoel Beer Sheva did this season, with the promotion to the home stage of the Europa League, and the decision joins the fan protest this morning.
The candidates to succeed Aboksis at the club from the Negev capital are Roni Levy and Marco Belbul.
Meanwhile, the former team of Aboksis Bnei Yehuda, who are also looking for a new coach, may apply in order to return the coach with whom they won the state cup in the 2018/19 season.

Aboksis coached Hapoel Beer Sheva from January 8, 2020, when he received the blessing of the road from the leaders of Bnei Yehuda and left for the team from the Negev capital.
He marched the team to win the state cup for the first time since 1997 and to the home stage of the Europa League.
He stood on the team's lines in 35 league games, in which it recorded 13 wins, 14 draws and 8 losses.
