PSG: two members of the staff of Pochettino affected by the Covid-19

PSG is definitely not spared at the start of the year by the Covid-19.

On Friday night, the club announced that Marco Verratti and Abdou Diallo were in turn positive.

The two players were immediately placed in isolation and will therefore miss the matches against Lorient, this Sunday (3 p.m.), and against Nîmes on Wednesday evening.

Their presence for the classio in Marseille on Sunday February 7 also remains uncertain.

Verratti and Diallo have been added to the list of Covid-positive players since the start of the year: Rafinha, Kehrer and Dagba.

For his part Mauricio Pochettino had also been affected.

This Saturday morning, PSG recorded the sixteenth and seventeenth cases of Covid since the start of the season with the contaminations of two members of the staff: Miguel D'Agostino, assistant to Pochettino and Sebastiano, his son and physical trainer of PSG.

Last Sunday, the staff members, very close to each other after spending almost 11 years together, celebrated Sebastiano's 26th birthday.

Miguel D'Agostino and Sebastiano Pochettino will therefore be absent for the trip to Morbihan this Sunday.

Just like the injured or insufficiently recovered players: Marquinhos, Navas, Herrera and finally Bernat.

During this Saturday's session, the Parisians began their training with small toros.

But Pochettino did not take part in it, so no risk, unlike the day before, of taking a small bridge by Angel Di Maria and ending up with his nose in the grass… This did not prevent the chambers and the good mood.
