The Israel Police announced today (Sunday) that this morning they arrested another suspect in connection with the shock grenade-laying incident near the house of Omar Atzili in Holon a few weeks ago.
This is the third suspect, with the other two detainees being brought in today for a further hearing on a request to extend their detention.
The police opened an investigation in Holon about three weeks ago, receiving complaints of harassment, extortion and finally placing a stun grenade near the house of a nobleman in Holon.
The police arrested two suspects in connection about a week ago and their detention was extended from time to time, with the intention today to request an extension of their detention once again in accordance with the findings of the investigation.
The police said today: "With the development of the investigation, the police arrested another suspect this morning - a resident of the south in his 30s and the Ayalon area investigators intend to bring him before the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court to extend his detention."
