Arrival of the quinté
: 13 - 5 - 6 - 9 - 8
After the demonstration of
Face Time Bourbon
in the Prix d'Amérique, the level was obviously less raised in this first quinté of the week.
Reserved only for five-year-olds, it pitted fourteen competitors against each other on the classic 2,700m long track course.
The object of a jute catch before the start,
Greco Bello
(n ° 13) justified the confidence of the punters by winning for his first steps at this level.
Well started, this resident of Jean-Paul Marmion bided his time in the peloton before going on the offensive at the beginning of the final turn.
Continuing his progression, he easily took the measure of
Goupil d'Ardennes
(n ° 9), the host before courageously resisting the good final effort of
Gaylord Jayf
(n ° 5).
Quickly well placed in the leading group,
Gai Matin
(n ° 6) took 3rd place and narrowly ahead,
Goupil d'Ardennes
(n ° 9) and
Gump du Poncelet
(n ° 8), constant appearing, separated in this order by minimal intervals.
Note that
Golfeur des Loyaux
(n ° 3) ended in a very pleasant action before disuniting near the post.
Starting slowly,
Girello
(n ° 2) tried to get closer in the last bend before remaining in his action at the finish line.
Kévin Romain indicated the quartet out of order.
