In a letter published on the Football Supporters Europe website, the fan associations warn against the creation of a competition that they consider "unpopular, illegitimate and dangerous".
Seven groups of supporters of French clubs (in Bordeaux, Lyon, Paris SG, Reims, Strasbourg and Rennes) signed the text.

But this should make it possible to "restore the competitive balance in European competitions."
Priority to national competitions and more balance in European competitions
The supporters recall their attachment to national competitions, the heart of their commitment, subject to the risk of a strong devaluation.
“We care about how our clubs perform in national leagues and cups above all else.
We refuse to let them become second class competitions.
We want to strengthen them, not weaken them, ”adds the collective denouncing the money-king in the world of football.
