Three months after his untimely death, the death of Diego Armando Maradona continues to occupy the football world in general and Argentina in particular.
Last night (Monday) a shocking recording was released between his doctor, Lufaldo Luca and the personal psychiatrist of the legend in which the doctor was heard expressing himself in a way that reinforces the suspicion against him of medical malpractice.
Today Maradona's daughter, Dalma, was interviewed and said that hearing the recording made her nauseous.
Psychiatrist Agostina Kosachov was staying at Maradona's home while his condition deteriorated and called Luca to update him that they were trying to resuscitate the 60-year-old former player.
The deceased's home spoke out against the two on the networks and wrote: "I just listened to the audio between Luca and a psychiatrist and vomited! The only thing I ask of God is that justice be done."
Dalma's sister, Giannina, was also outraged and said: "If the truth wins, you two will go to jail. The ease with which the two speak in conversation disgusts me."
Concurrent with the storm, local authorities are examining the treatment and medication given by the deceased’s doctors to Diego and as part of the investigation a search was conducted at Luca’s home and office.
No alcohol or narcotics were found in Maradona's body.
