Brazilian press reports confirmed that international star Neymar de Silva, the Paris Saint-Germain striker, is close to renewing his contract with the French club in the coming days.
Brazilian newspaper TNT confirmed that Saint-Germain began negotiations with Neymar several months ago due to the expiration of his contract in June 2022, noting that the latter would sign a new contract with the club for a period of four seasons until 2026.
Neymar moved to Saint-Germain from Barcelona in the summer of 2017 after paying the penalty clause of 222 million euros, while this season he managed to score 13 goals and make five goals during his participation in 16 matches in various local and European tournaments.
