Sevilla's great season continued tonight (Tuesday) when Luftaghi's team qualified for the Spanish Cup semi-final after a small 0: 1 victory over Almeria from the second division. Alejandro (Papu) Gomes made his debut for the Andalusians and launched an attack alongside Luc de Jong and Lucas Ocampus.
But the hosts, who ousted Osasuna in the previous round, made life difficult for their opponent until the 67th minute broke the ice. His horse found Ocampus who scored the winning goal with a jab and sent his team to the semi-finals. After Real and Atletico Madrid were relegated, Sevilla and Barcelona are the top candidates to win this factory.
It was the sixth consecutive victory in all of Sevilla's frameworks, which will now face Hattafa and Waska in the league before the heated encounter against Dortmund in the Champions League.
