Nine days before the semi-finals of the State Cup, today (Tuesday) the director general of the Basketball Association, Yaakov Ben-Shoshan, asked the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Health to allow 700 fans to enter each of the semifinals, which will bring Maccabi Tel Aviv to Hapoel Holon and Hapoel Jerusalem to Maccabi Rishon Lezion.
According to the union's letter, the two games to be held at Drive-in in Tel Aviv next Thursday could become a pilot for a limited audience, in a hall with an original capacity of 3,400 seats. Ben-Shoshan clarifies in the letter:
Each of them sat with a mask and two chairs away from the one sitting next to him.
We see great importance in the possibility of trying and returning Israeli sports to routine. "
