Instead of playing in the European arena, Maccabi Tel Aviv has been concentrating in recent days mainly on the local arena, after the games against Anadolu Efes and Moscow Khimki in the Euroleague were postponed due to the Corona virus.
Between the postponement and the league game, team coach Yannis Sapropoulos spoke on the Eurohoops podcast, about his start with the Yellows, the difficult situation and also about the future.
“I always strive to get better and be a better coach,” the Greek said.
"Basketball is quite reminiscent of life itself - no matter how many times you fall down, you have to lift yourself up again and again."

"Maccabi Tel Aviv fans hugged me from the first moment," the coach added.
"I got a lot of love, reinforcements and paragons from the start, and I still get it from them. I will never forget what I experienced from those fans. I wish they could have accompanied us in the last few games, very strange and not easy to play without them. It's a completely different game."
