Big anger at Hapoel B'Shlosha over sports channel commentator Sagi Cohen, over the alleged spitting affair of the team's Joshua, over Maccabi Tel Aviv player Avi Rikan.

The anger stems from a comment by the commentator last night (Wednesday) on the sports news, which they claim has hurt the group's fans and residents of the south in general.

"I do not understand why everyone is coming to terms with Joshua? Could it be that he simply honored the clause in his contract, as in Leo Messi's contract, which requires him to adapt his behavior to local values and culture," Cohen said, causing a great uproar in the Negev capital.

Owner Alona Barkat responded on her Twitter account and wrote: "Racism 2021, on behalf of Hapoel B'Shlosha fans, residents of B'Shlosha and the entire south, I tell you to be ashamed !!!".

Assistant coach Maor Melikson also responded, writing: "I wish you a third of the values of the local culture here in the South."

Later, the uprising came not only from the members of the group today.

Maccabi Haifa coach Barak Bachar, who previously coached Hapoel B'Shlosha and won three championships with them, defended the place where he worked and posted on social media a condemnation of Sagi Cohen. "As someone who has been in B'Shlosha for years, I am outraged and angry at Sagi Cohen's words "After the closure," Bachar wrote, "I suggest to Sagi: Take yourself to BS and really get to know the local culture and customs.

One thing you can be sure of: "There is not a single gram of arrogance in the toilet as expressed in your things."

Minister of Culture and Sports Hili Trooper also responded: "This is an offensive statement that has no place in the Israeli media and discourse at all. I expect Sagi Cohen to repeat his remarks."

As mentioned, the commentator's words caused a great stir.

The mayor of BS, Rubik Danilovich, also heard about this and was quick to respond by asking the captains of the sports channel to address the issue.
