A painful blow.

The problems keep piling up at Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Team player JP Tokoto is suffering from a small foot crisis and will be out of action for between four and six weeks, the team discovered this morning (Wednesday) after a photo was taken of the player.

Tokoto was injured during the Tel Aviv derby on Sunday, but insisted on continuing to play with the injury, and on Monday felt severe pain in his leg.

Tokoto's injury (27, 2.01) comes just two weeks after he extended his contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv for the 2021/22 season as well.

The player came to the Reds after the start of the current season, scoring in seven games at the club 9.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists in seven games.

Before that he managed to play at two more stations in Israel - he started his career at Hapoel Eilat, in the media he was one of the stars of the Premier League and led the team to the Final Four, and last season he was also good at Nes Ziona, which he joined during the season.

Who will dress for tonight's game (19:20, Sport 5) against Bnei Herzliya is John Dibbler, who last played in the league a month ago, and has recovered from an injury that sidelined him as well.

The game against Herzliya is considered critical for the Reds - Yannis Kastritis' team reaches him from tenth place in the table, and a loss to Herzliya will bring it down very close to the red line.
