For the first time this season and following the real fear of relegation, Hapoel Tel Aviv is considering the future of coach Yannis Castritis.
So far the Reds have consistently claimed that the weak ability and bad results are due to the blow of injuries and mistakes in building the team at the start of the season, now for the first time they have started to think seriously at the club about ending the Greek coach's role.
The team says that Castritis is an excellent coach, but in the situation that has arisen and after significant changes have been made to the squad, it may very well be inevitable to make a substitution on the lines as well to rescue the team from the situation it is in.
It is still unclear whether the coach will continue until the next game against Hapoel Haifa or whether he will get another chance.
Apparently, even if he stays, a loss in Romema will likely lead to the termination of his position.
