Former basketball player Erez Lustig passed away today (Thursday) at the age of 87. Lustig played throughout most of his career at Hapoel Tel Aviv. He won with her two championships and one trophy. In the cup final in 1962, he scored the basket that set 48:50 for the Reds over Maccabi Tel Aviv about 20 seconds to go, which turned out to be the winning basket. He made 25 appearances for the Israeli national team and participated in two European Championships.

Lustig, who played for Hapoel Tel Aviv in 1953, 1964, scored 1,655 points in the media and is ranked 13th among the club's all-time scorers.
