finished 40th and 41st. At first she did not want to compete in the individual race due to these results, but was urged to do so by her coaches.
However, she was taken out of the race prematurely after five shooting errors.

nervous breakdown

In the season, however, she was able to keep her nerve and hand over the baton as eleventh.

Biathlon World Championships
in Finland. She became
world champion

and in the mass start, the
biathlete
made it
to second place.
However, she was unable to finish the 2015/2016 season due to a hairline crack in her tailbone.
In the following season, Preuss was also prevented from starting due to several illnesses, but was able to catch up again in the 2018/2019 season.
In 2020 she
won two silver medals
