Chambly is in the rough.
Sportingly, after his defeat (4-0) Tuesday evening in Châteauroux, the red lantern of the championship, and extra-sportingly with a Covid-19 virus which continues to spread in its ranks.
Suddenly, this Friday (8 p.m.) at the Pierre-Brisson stadium in Beauvais, the reception of Sochaux, 10th in the standings with six points more than the Picards, does not look easy.
The Covid-19 does not let go of Chambly.

This Monday, Chambly had no new cases among its players while Thibault Jaques was done with the virus.

This Thursday, during the first results, two new players were identified as covid: Sébastien Flochon and Shaquil Delos.
A third case was revealed in the person of Gaharo Doucouré, a member of the staff, who had already tested positive for covid-19 last September.
With Oumar Gonzalez and John Popelard, still positive for covid-19 as well as Florent Routier, the assistant coach, Chambly has seven cases of covid including four players.
“It's the worst-case scenario,” Luzi confirms.

In addition to the four players affected by the covid, Chambly has to deal with the suspension of two players: Anthony Soubervie and Maxence Derrien.
For the latter, Chambly submitted a file for his case to be examined by the disciplinary committee.
Expelled Tuesday in Châteauroux, Maxence Derrien was confused with Adrien Pinot by the referee, Mr. Baer, as the images of the meeting confirm.
“The referee is always right and even more so when he is wrong,” notes Bruno Luzi.
Xavier Pinoteau, who was released from hospital after his shock to the head last Saturday against Caen, is left to rest.
Guillaume Dequaire and Nikola Petkovic, in the recovery phase, complete a very impressive list of unavailable players.
“I will make my decision regarding my group on Friday morning,” Luzi said.
One last effort before the return to normal.
