The Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office (criminal) today filed an indictment in the city Magistrate's Court against Bar Gita and Omri Ben Lulu, among others for (each defendant according to his share) vandalizing real estate and numerous extortion offenses with threats against footballer Omar Atzili.
According to the indictment filed by Adv. Tzachi Hadali, the defendants are fans of the Maccabi Haifa football team, who decided to prevent the football player Omar Atzili from joining the team, among other things, due to his previous statement in condemnation of the team. To the group, the respondents extorted threats from a nobleman and his family by unlawfully harming their body, their good name and the privacy of their individual, and also intimidated them.
The defendants sent threatening messages to the nobleman and his family and it was written, among other things: "We will harass you, your wife, your family, everyone ...";
"Once you land in the land of terrorism will begin";
"We have decided not to accept you, so we will terrorize you personally and also for your family and your wife ... waiting for you to land so that we can welcome you and then you will understand what mistake you will make if you sign here ..";
"Today is your day of judgment. Today we will know if your life is going to be black or if you will continue to overcome the affair" "We will reach Holon, the region, the first, Haifa everywhere."
In addition, Gita vandalized real estate by spray-painting graffiti against nobles in places where his family and acquaintances live.
Among other things, he spray-painted a wall on the place of residence of the noble wife's family: "Noble light - stay away from Haifa. Terrorism begins - noble pedophile."
In his request for detention until the end of the proceedings, Advocate Havdali noted: “The extortion incidents with threats attributed to the respondents ended in reality with an incident of placing a stun grenade at the entrance to the apartment of a noble parent.
Although this incident is not attributed to the respondents, it constitutes a serious escalation of the blackmail mask in threats against a nobleman and his family and it cannot be disputed that the laying of the grenade is a product and direct continuation of these events.
Given the potential danger of the respondents, however, it can be concluded that if they had not been arrested, they would have acted themselves to carry out their threats. "
In addition, the indictment against Gita was also filed for the offense of possession of a dangerous drug not for personal consumption, after a dangerous cannabis drug was seized at his home.
