Mexican teams are the regular guests at the Club World Cup in the last 15 years.

The great goal, failed so far, is to play the final.

The last bet is the Tigres, the team that shone in the last decade in Mexican soccer with five championships.

This Thursday, in Qatar, the feline team beat South Korea's Ulsan Hyundai with some hurry (2-1).

His rival will be the brand new champion of the Copa Libertadores, Palmeiras.

The Tigers' journey began with heartburn.

Just in the first 23 minutes, Ulsan scored a goal from a corner kick with a fine play from a stopped ball.

KeeHee Kim's goal was a hard shake.

The Mexican team turned to the front and found in their top scorer, Frenchman André-Pierre Gignac, the way to the light.

Before the end of the first half, Gignac scored the equalizer after a center powered by the head of Diego Reyes.

Minutes later, the refereeing video imparted its slow but accurate justice: in another corner the ball was deflected by the hand of Kim Ji-Hyun.

The whistler scored a penalty in favor of the Mexican team.

Gignac, who else, asked for the ball to make it 2-1.

The second half was for the Tigres, led by Ricardo Ferretti, a test of endurance.

The team that represents Concacaf endured the arrivals of the Asian team who had even scored a fantasy goal by Yoo Bit-Garam of Chile that was canceled due to an offside.

The felines had a couple of occasions to increase their advantage on the board, but the unfortunate foot of Raymundo Fulgencio sent two very wide shots.

The Tigres will have a more difficult game this Sunday (12.00 Mexico City time) when they collide with Palmeiras, which a few days ago conquered the Copa Libertadores with suffering against Santos.

The final aspiration will be to measure against Bayern Munich, Champions League champions.
