Ten positive cases having been detected among the members of the center, it interrupted its activity this Friday morning for me

Football “classes” are not immune to the crisis affecting all schools.

While this Friday the Ministry of National Education announced that 934 classes had been forced to close in the territory, the PSG training center has, as revealed by RMC, also made the choice to interrupt its activities for at least a week.

Thursday, a dozen positive cases were, in fact, detected in the center which accommodates about fifty young residents and sees many educators.

Like the academies of Nice, Saint-Etienne, Nantes, Lorient or Dijon, which also saw their activity turned upside down by the health crisis, the PSG did not wish to take the slightest risk.

When the results were announced on Thursday evening, the residents were all kept in isolation in a room until, this Friday morning, each one returned to his home with one of his parents.

Further testing should be done to verify that no case is affected by a new variant of the virus.

If the U17 and U19 training sessions were obviously canceled, the professional group was able to prepare for Sunday's clasico at the Vélodrome without a hitch.

Since the beginning of January, the Covid-19 has certainly not spared the stars.

Rafinha, Thilo Kehrer, Colin Dagba, Mauricio Pochettino, two staff members, and more recently Marco Verratti and Abdou Diallo have thus tested positive.

But the Italian midfielder and the French defender, who tested negative after their period of isolation, resumed collective training on Friday.
