The former talents of TSV 1860 and FC Bayern give their careers new impetus.

  • Türkgücü Munich has turned its squad upside down again in the 2020/21 winter transfer period.

  • The series-climber plunged five players to the Isar, seven players left the club.

  • Those responsible relied on the local factor for four out of five reinforcements.

Munich - Türkgücü Munich relied on local ties.

Four of the five winter transfers have a Munich past: Sebastian Maier (from the youth of TSV 1860), Noel Niemann (born in Munich, played for the professionals and amateurs from 1860), Kilian Jakob (from the Löwen youth) and Maxime Awoudja (born Munich, trained at FC Bayern) return to the Grünwalder Stadium.

Our newspaper spoke to the newcomers who want to get back to their old form after setbacks in Munich.

Noel Niemann (on loan from Arminia Bielefeld until the end of the season)

Noel Niemann played 13 games for the pros at TSV 1860 in the 2019/20 season, but then decided in July of last year to move to Arminia Bielefeld free of charge.

The offensive player has not yet played a role in the Bundesliga promoted team and can not record any use.

For Niemann, however, this is not the end of the world: “At that time I came from the 3rd division and of course I knew that I would not be guaranteed a regular place immediately.

But, if you have the opportunity to play in the Bundesliga, you just have to try it and that's how it was agreed with Arminia from the start. ”After a shoulder injury, the 21-year-old Türkgücü now wants“ with my speed and my move to Help Tor and give our game even more depth.

Maxime Awoudja (on loan from VfB Stuttgart until the end of the season)

Maxime Awoudja also knows the Grünwald stadium very well.

The central defender went through the youth teams of FC Bayern and made 47 appearances for the amateurs.

The 23-year-old has made two appearances in the Bundesliga at VfB Stuttgart, after a torn Achilles tendon Awoudja was out for seven months:

“I've struggled with injuries a number of times, but the Achilles tendon tear was the worst.

You have been thinking about it for a few days and pondering.

But it is important to accept such circumstances quickly and to look ahead again. ”Awoudja is currently living with his parents again,“ I know Munich like the back of my hand, ”says“ Bobo ”.

Sebastian Maier (contract with Türkgücü Munich until summer 2022)

Sebastian Maier comes from the lion smithy.

Born in Landshut, he moved to the TSV 1860's NLZ at the age of 14 and was part of the A-youth team in the 2010/11 season, which qualified for the final round of the German championship (out of the semifinals against Kaiserslautern).

After appearances for the amateurs and professionals of 60, the midfielder moved to Sankt Pauli, then to Hanover and Bochum.

The 27-year-old had a “difficult time” in Bochum. After operations on his ankle and groin, Maier was “informed early on that I would no longer be planned” worked together at 60: “It's an incredibly good feeling to feel that you are needed again.

Self-confidence is the be-all and end-all. "

Kilian Jakob (on loan from FC Augsburg until the end of the season)

Kilian Jakob will have marked March 3, 2018 thick in his calendar.

At that time the left-back made his Bundesliga debut for FC Augsburg against Hoffenheim (0-2 home defeat).

28 days later Jakob broke his kneecap, premature season end.

Since then, the 23-year-old has repeatedly struggled with injuries and was most recently only used in the regional league as a second representative for Augsburg.

"The loan to Türkgücü gives me the chance to play myself back in the field of vision of Augsburg or other clubs," says Jakob.

Despite some setbacks, the goal of the former 1860 professional remains the “2nd

or 1. Bundesliga ".
