Danny Abdia's good ability in the last two Washington games has not gone unnoticed by local reporters.
Last night (Thursday) the Washington Post published a flattering article about Abdia and Roy Hachimura, the Wizards' second promising youngster, who is also showing an improvement trend.
"Roy Hachimura and Danny Abdia are regaining momentum after being absent for so long," commentator Eva Wallace noted.
"Scott Brooks emphasizes the fact that it takes patience for Roy and Danny, who still need to get back in shape after being absent for several weeks when they were included in the Corona protocol. But now they are slowly coming back to themselves."

Abdia and Hachimura are the young skeleton of the team, and their progress is critical to Brooks, because Washington is looking for stability and the coaching staff wants to develop the young players despite all the trouble. "In addition, he shows solid ability in defense."
Either way, while on the field Abdia’s friends are putting more and more trust in him, off him they continue to assign him different and weird tasks, as befits a rookie in the NBA.
Last night, Troy Brown released a video from the team's training session, in which the veteran players led by Russell Westbrook are seen kicking balls to the stands and instructing Abdia and other rookie Cassius Winston to bring them back.
Abdia and the Wizards will return to the floor tonight (Friday-Saturday, 3 p.m., Sports 5) when they host Miami once again, which they won last night.
They will look for a third win in the last four games.
