Hatem 'Abd al-Hamid's return to Hapoel Beer Sheva has been agreed.
The Israeli national team defender was not included in Celtic's squad today (Saturday) in the 1: 2 victory over Motherwell, and after the game, coach Neil Lennon admitted that the deal with Hapoel Beer Sheva is closed and the parties are separated.
Lennon said at the end: "He had a very hard time with life here. His wife and young son returned to Israel, even if it was mentally difficult here.

Hapoel Beer Sheva will pay around 900,000 euros for 29-year-old Alhamid, whom she sold to Celtic for 1.8 million euros in July 2019. The player was a partner in winning the Scottish Treble last season and parted ways with the Greens after 13 appearances in the league, 12 games in Europe and five more in the various trophies. Without gates.
Alona Barkat, who wanted to provide a statement of intent upon returning to the front of the stage at Hapoel Beer Sheva, insisted on a purchase deal and not the loan, as the Scots suggested.
The said amount is about half of the sale transaction, with Alhamid signing a three-and-a-half year contract.
The one who made room in the staff of Hapoel Beer Sheva is defender Noam Gamon, who was loaned to Hapoel Raanana from the national league.
