Despite missing his big star Nemanja Nedovic, Katsch swept his side to a big 77:88 away win over bitter rival Olympiacos.
Howard St.-Ross Haifa for his loss to Nadovic with a three-pointer and 20 points.
Mitoglou and Alphtharios Bukhoridis contributed 15 each.
Katsch looked excited after the game and said "We were missing Nadovic, but congratulations to the guys who came up. We used a higher five and had a hard time in the first half. We had to slow down to make adjustments. I am proud of my players for the way they executed things" .

Katsch referred to the importance of winning a derby and said: "It was a special evening for us. Playing in the Greek derby and winning is special. Our guards came up without Nadovic. It was not the biggest basketball to watch, but it is a very prestigious victory."
Katsch commented that his team scored all 25 of its shots from the penalty spot: "It was very unique and rare, but I liked our control of the rebound and the clever use of offenses more. I'm glad everyone went up."
Howard St. Ross this winning star said: "We brought our energy, we knew how important it was to win and how big the rivalry here was. We needed it. The guys needed it for so long, we played the toughest we could."
Despite this win, Panathinaikos have no real chance of qualifying for the playoffs with a negative balance of 9 wins versus 14 losses.
Katsch's next game will be against Mike James' CSKA Moscow, who will meet his ex.
