A solution has been found.
Faced with the imbroglio created by the ban for UK residents to travel to Germany in an attempt to stop the spread of the Covid-19 variant, Liverpool found themselves unable to travel to Leipzig for the match go to the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League on February 16.
The match will go well on February 16 (9 p.m., at the same time as Barça-PSG) but will take place on neutral ground, in Budapest, at the Ferenc Puskas Arena, UEFA announced on Sunday.
UEFA can confirm that the #UCL round of 16 first leg between Leipzig and Liverpool will now take place at Puskás Aréna in Budapest on 16 February.
