The English champions, Liverpool suffered last night (Sunday) a third consecutive loss at Anfield, a humiliating 4: 1 loss to arch-rivals in recent years, Manchester City.
Now, her coach, Jürgen Klopp says the goal he has left for his trainees is to finish in the top four in the table to secure a place in the Champions League next year.
The Reds looked bad when Allison made two uncharacteristic errors and now he and his teammates are 10 points away from the Blues who are at the top and recorded a tenth straight win last night.
After the game Klopp was asked if now the goal is to finish in one of the first four places and the German replied: "This is our main goal, it's clear. We will try to do everything, there are enough games to ensure that, but we have to win games."
Liverpool recorded their third consecutive loss at Anfield since 1963. On Allison's mistakes Klopp said: "It happens, maybe he was cold, it sounds funny but I do not know exactly what his condition was. He saved us many times, tonight he was wrong and we are with him."
