After negotiations that lasted several days, midfielder Nico Olsk, who did not find his place in the Dutch Walwick, is close to concluding his joining Betar Jerusalem on a contract until the end of the season with an option for another season.
In the capital, it is believed that Olsk will sign today or tomorrow, thus uniting with coaches Slobodan Drapic and Shai Barda, who discovered him and with whom he broke into the Maccabi Netanya uniform.
Tonight, the group's new contact, Marco Jankovic, is scheduled to land in Israel, signing a contract subject to medical tests.
Mathausino, who has not played a minute since the start of the season due to a long injury, will also arrive in Israel after the club received the confirmation documents for the arrival of the two yesterday.
Betar hopes that goalkeeper Itamar Nitzan, who felt weak in training yesterday, will train as usual over the next few days and will be fit to stand between the posts in the game against Maccabi Netanya on Thursday.
