The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) today revoked the license of the Chinese club, Shandong Leoning, to participate in the AFC Champions League in the 2021 edition.
The AFC announced on its official website that the Independent Eligibility Committee participating in the AFC decided to withdraw the license of the Chinese Shandong Luneng Club to participate in the AFC Champions League because it did not fulfill the requirements of the paragraph related to the instructions for licensing clubs in the AFC “2016 Edition” concerning obligations Payable, which makes him ineligible for the license.
