More than three months of the Premier League are already behind us, and now we are entering the recess of the State Cup and the Israeli national team.

Immediately after that, the second and decisive half of the season will begin, which will include fascinating battles at the top, bottom and the last tickets to the playoffs.

"Israel Today" took the opportunity to produce an alternative midterm certificate through a poll we conducted between the coaches, professional managers / CEOs and captains of the league teams - and the results are fascinating. The professionals / CEOs (the number of choices will appear in parentheses).

Who is the most impressive team this season?

Hapoel Gilboa / Galil (7).

With a young, talented and athletic staff that has enough rhythmic and attractive basketball, but without shiny names, the northern team has already defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Jerusalem and Hapoel Holon this season and is marked as a favorite to reach the later stages.

Hapoel Holon (5).

"The Israeli Houston Rockets," Guy Pnini called her and knew why.

She plays a different basketball, which made the coaches choose her as the team that is the hardest to play against, has risen a step in Europe, and she has a lot of weapons that can attack at any moment and in any form.

Hapoel Eilat (1).

Who is the most impressive player this season?

Keenan Evans (4) |

Coordinator, Hapoel Haifa.

The main factor in the success of the league's hit, Hapoel Haifa.

He has everything - defense and attack, penetration and shooting, and everything with a positive character.

Caleb Agada (3) |

Guard, who

works in BS. A year ago he still played in the second league in Spain and became known for his defensive game.

Chris Johnson (2) |

Yiftach Ziv (1) |

Kerry Blackshire (1) |

Maxim de Zhao (1) |

Yam Madar (1).

Who will discover this season?

Noam Avivi (5) |

Forward, Rishon LeZion. This

season he takes the opportunity from Guy Goodes to the end. Hey, how many tall Israelis do you know who score 46.4% to 3?

Noam speaks (3) |

Guard, Rishon LeZion. This

season, too, the 18-year-old player positions himself as one of the greatest talents of our basketball. This year he also improved his defense, and the sky is the limit for him.

Michael Brisker (1) |

Adi Cohen Saban (1) |

Yam Madar (1).

Who will be chosen as the outstanding player of the season?

Chris Johnson (4) |

Forward, Hapoel Holon.

He does everything.

Guards, snatches, hits, penetrates, removes, and wants more than anyone else on the field.

By all estimates, the team in purple will get far this season, and Johnson is the main reason for that.

Therefore, if he stays healthy, there is no reason not to be a leading candidate for the Outstanding Player title.

Casey Prather (3) |

Forward, Hapoel Eilat.

The athletic forward plays at a high pace, he has a lot of experience, diverse abilities and a great hunger to return to the high stages.

When he takes over the game, it is very difficult to stop him and his team.

If Eilat goes far, it will be a lot thanks to him.

Oz Blazer (1) |

Brian Angola (1) |

Tyson Thomas (1) |

Caleb Agada (1) |

Josh Nibu (1).

Who will win the championship this year?

Maccabi Tel Aviv (10).

Even in a season when it stutters in Europe, the team in yellow has endless depth and quality, certainly in relation to rivals in the league. In a season of series, it seems that only a clearly unexpected scenario will stop it on the way to another championship.

Hapoel Jerusalem (2).

Even in a difficult and disappointing season so far, the potential in the squad, the vast experience of some of the players, and perhaps also the tradition of recent years, make managers think that eventually, the team from the capital will reach later stages and give itself a chance to achieve beautiful things.

Hapoel Holon (1).

Participated in the poll:

Nikola Vujicic (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Artzi Private (Hapoel Gilboa / Galil), Yotam Halperin (Hapoel Jerusalem), Reuven Alex (Hapoel Haifa), Oren Almog (Hapoel Eilat), Roi Devorah (Hapoel Holon) ), Meir Tapiro (Urbani Ness Ziona), Daniel Ravitz (Hapoel Beer Sheva), Gilad Ziv (Maccabi Rishon Lezion), Eldad Akunis (Bnei Herzliya), Idan Pelda (Hapoel Tel Aviv), Dudu Lemberg (Urbani Nahariya),

Assaf Rosenblatt (Maccabi Haifa)

• Participants in the poll were asked not to choose from their group.
