National: the Red Star no longer knows how to win and stagnates

Taken by the Coupe de France for two weeks, the Red Star took the opportunity this Tuesday to update its National calendar against Bou

Postponed to this Tuesday because of the Coupe de France, several matches of the 20th day of National took place on Tuesday including that of the Red Star against Bourg-en-Bresse at the Bauer stadium in Saint-Ouen.

Usually named Bauer, the stadium officially bears the name of the doctor who resisted during World War II from the city council on Monday.

A municipal council which also validated the authorization to Karim Bouamrane, the mayor (PS) of the city, to cede the stadium for the renovation by the Realities group.

Good news which was not confirmed by a first victory in the championship in 2021. Held in check (0-0) by Bourg-en-Bresse, the Red Star remains in third place but sees Concarneau (4th) return to three points from him, while the leader Bastia takes off with ten lengths more.

What you must remember

After the two-week Coupe de France parenthesis, marked by two qualifications against Le Mée (R1) and Ivry (N3) on the scores of 4-1 and 2-0, Vincent Bordot's players returned to the championship.

A return that ended in a draw (0-0) against a Bresse team in a relegation position.

In a match that they generally dominated, the Audoniens tried to force the opposing lock.

In vain.

Vincent Bordot tried everything by launching two of his three recruits, Madih Talah (ex-Las Rosas, Spanish L3) and Pape Meïssa Ba (ex-Troyes, CFA).

The third reinforcement recorded in early February, Alan Dzabana (ex-Le Havre, CFA) was not on the scoresheet.

Yet the opportunities were not lacking by Jimmy Roye (31st) or Damien Durand (44th).

The second period is a big control of the Greens but it lacks this bit of success.

⏱ It's over at Bauer.

Despite many situations and great domination, the Red Star drew 0-0.

The player: Cheikh Ndoye

Author of 4 goals since his arrival in October, the former player from Angers (Ligue 1) has still had an incessant activity in the midfield.

In Vincent Bordot's device, he is a centerpiece and the hub.

Against Bourg-en-Bresse, he was the most dangerous Audonian (22nd, 47th, 80th, 84th).

The number: 6

The Red Star has chained a sixth league meeting without knowing the victory.

Since December 4 and a success against the red lantern Annecy (2-1), the Audoniens have only taken three points out of 15 possible.

A serious slack for the former resident of Ligue 2 who would like to find the upper floor.
