The Spanish midfielder talks about his Brazilian teammate's change of mind in a lengthy interview on Spanish radio.

Ander Herrera is currently watching his teammates from the infirmary.

Expected with the group this week, the Spaniard gave an interview on Monday evening to Spanish radio Cadena Ser to discuss the news of PSG, one week before the first leg of the knockout stages of the Champions League against Barça.

But as often in Spain, the midfielder has been asked a lot about the future of his teammates, Neymar and Kylian Mbappé.

PSG number 10 is very close to a contract extension, a year and a half after wanting to leave Paris.

Ander Herrera is the first to notice the change.

“I noticed it last year,” he says on the “El Larguero” program.

From September, I saw a super involved Neymar with the desire to win all the titles.

I believe he has become the flagship of the project.

He is a natural leader ”.

"A team that owns Messi is a minimum of 50-50"

A weight that the Basque does not want to attribute to Mbappé.

“Kylian will be one of the best players in the next decade, whatever I say I'm going to be on the front page of every newspaper,” Herrera smiles.

There is no need to force him to become the flagship of the project ”.

The end of contract of the two stars?

“It makes sense that everyone is talking about it, I take it as a normal thing that happens every season.

But they are focused on PSG, ”says the former Manchester United player.

The third name most cited by the press is that of Lionel Messi.

A hot topic that Herrera does not want to dwell on.

“Last year, when everyone in Barcelona was talking about Neymar, it was something that we didn't like,” he recalls.

I'm not going to talk about a Barça player.

I have a lot of respect for this club, its coach and for Lionel Messi.

I'm not going to go in there ”.

Calling the Argentine “the best player seen and faced” in his career, Herrera warns that he should not be “left in comfort” on February 16 at Camp Nou.

"A team that owns Messi is a minimum of 50-50," he concludes when discussing the favorites.
