2021-02-10T10:49:08.694Z

21 players are heading to Normandy for the round of 16 match on Wednesday evening. Mbappé and Neymar are on the trip.

Mauricio Pochettino travels to Caen with a group limited by injuries.

Eight players are missing this Wednesday for this first round of the Coupe de France in Normandy: Di Maria (thigh), Dagba (thigh), Herrera (recovery), Navas (recovery), Verratti (hip), Kurzawa (rest) , Bernat (knee) and Pembélé (coronavirus).

The Argentine staff has therefore called 21 players including young midfielders Xavi Simons, Edouard Michut and goalkeeper Denis Franchi.

Abdou Diallo, after a ten-day health protocol, is back in the group.

Mauro Icardi, victim of a contusion to the right thigh against OM (2-0) in the clasico Sunday, is present, even if he should start on the bench.

The stars Neymar and Kylian Mbappé are also answering the call.

Pochettino and his staff must decide how much the executives should rest a week from the knockout stages of the Champions League against FC Barcelona.

A rotation of the group is envisaged against Caen, remains to be seen in what proportion.
