Rosa said after the signing: "I am happy to sign at the club and thank the professional team for supporting me. I am looking forward to joining training. I have heard and seen videos of the crowd and I very much hope that I will soon be able to play at the home stadium with you."

Owner Alona Barkat: "We are happy to add Farley to the club. I am sure he will contribute a lot to us and will fit in well with the team."

As you may recall, Be'er Sheva wanted to land Dor Micha, but this did not help following Maccabi Tel Aviv's demand for improvement fees, and has now attached another contact.

The Brazilian became the second newcomer in the current window, after Be'er Sheva brought back Hatem 'Abd al-Hamid, who returned to the team from Celtic.

The 27-year-old Rosa played from the start of the season until January in the UAE's Fujairah team and before that also wore the Greek uniforms Pantholikos and Artomitos, the AK side Larnaca and Apollon Limassol from Cyprus and Sevastopol from Ukraine.

In the years 2009-2013 he played in the youth department of Sporting Lisbon.

He also played for teams from Brazil and Saudi Arabia.
